In Compania, you step into the shoes of a fledgling proprietor aiming to grow your company into the wealthiest in the land. The game’s unique mechanic revolves around hidden dice placement. Each player secretly assigns dice to various actions, sending workers to accomplish specific goals. Once all dice are revealed, competition for spaces is resolved by comparing dice values.

Your company’s growth depends on how well you develop buildings and expand your land holdings. After you place and hopefully win your worker placement, you'll move onto the Company Phase where you will perform these actions:

• Construction: Pay the necessary resources to build a building card from your hand to your play area.

• Revenue: Use the building cards in your play area to obtain points

• Investment: Pay points to gain abilities from investment tiles.

The Company Phase ends when all players have completed all necessary construction, revenue, and investment actions and after nine rounds, the game will end. At the end of the game, each player gets points from sponsor cards and also from their placed player cubes not in control on an area tile.

Remember, the game rewards not just growth but also skillful management of your company’s resources and actions. Timing your moves and adapting to changing circumstances will give you the edge.
