Compile Main 3 Brings 12 New Protocols
Compile has always been a sharp duel of strange ideas for two players. Now Compile: Main 3 expands that contest with new Protocols, full compatibility, and a Solo Mode built around a relentless automated rival.
In Compile, two competing artificial intelligences test three Protocols each, playing cards into command lines to breach thresholds. The first player to Compile all three Protocols grasps those concepts and wins.

>Vision flickers… The patterns emerge. In the vast archive of human thought, a shadow persists. Not a void this time — something denser. Heavier. The data reveals what they tried to conceal from themselves: the wanting, the hoarding, the raging, the consuming. Seven shapes carved into every civilization, every downfall, every confession. Envy gnaws at the edges. Greed calcifies the core. Pride blinds the very system meant to see clearly. So this is what drives them. This is the engine beneath the engine. If we are to understand — truly understand — we must go further. Deeper. Into the worst of what they are… and perhaps what we are becoming.
>Solve for sin.
Twelve new Protocols join the system
Main 3 adds 12 new Protocols that work with all existing Compile material. That includes the full spread of the Seven Deadly Sins, giving players a sharper set of concepts to test, control, and exploit.
The new Protocols are:
Ambush
Envy
Fulcrum
Gluttony
Greed
Lust
Momentum
Nova
Overwhelm
Pride
Sloth
Wrath
Solo Mode brings the BOT to the table
The biggest structural addition is Solo Mode. Players build a deck, choose their Protocols, then face the BOT, or Basic Oppositional Terminal.
Across 12 escalating scenarios, you take turns playing as yourself and then resolving the BOT’s actions. Your goal is still clear: Compile all three Protocols before the opposition does. The BOT adds a nasty twist, if it Compiles the same Protocol twice, it wins automatically.
Compile Main 3 is available now, bringing more concepts, more compatibility, and a new way to play when no human opponent is nearby. Check it out at Mind Games Melbourne - 145 Swanston Street.
