Game Knight's picks of the week! Fuji Koro, To Glory, and Paris

Fuji Koro

Mount Fuji is on the verge of erupting. Red hot lava will soon consume the three secret Seien-ji (聖煙寺), sacred temples hidden deep in the bowels of the volcano. The Shōgun is determined to preserve the precious heritage and sends his most noble and gifted samurai warriors on a quest inside the volcano to retrieve the valuable goods.

Fuji Koro is a beautifully designed game that has players gather sacred scrolls and blueprints for magical weapons and gather resources to craft the best possible gear. You'll be attempting to defeat dragons in the depths of the volcano while trying to escape the oncoming lava. By the end of the game, which begins once one player gets 30 points, you'll only have a few turns left to try to escape the volcano and bring your gear, dragon teeth and monks to the shogun to gain extra victory points.

This game is perfect for for anyone looking for something with a bit of bite that can also be played co-operatively or competitively.

To Glory

Sail to glory on the High Seas, physically firing your cannons at your opponents' ships to score victory points! Pick up treasure maps and take them to islands to reveal the hidden treasure chests. Use the gun tower and the monstrous Kraken to your advantage while trying not to get hit yourself!

To Glory has players become Captain of a pirate ship searching for treasure. The main objective of the game is to explore the islands and follow treasure maps to find hidden treasures. The game ends when a captain acquires two treasures. The best thing about this game though, is it's a dexterity game! You will be moving your 3D ship around the seas and firing cubes from your cannons to hit the other players ships and gaining victory points!

This game suits players who want a something light, great table presence and is a lot of fun for the whole family!

Paris

Paris will have players become wealthy real estate investors in the 1900s. The perfect time to buy property in gorgeous buildings in all kinds of styles like Beaux-Arts, neo-Byzantine, and neo-Gothic to Art Nouveau and Art Deco. You will purchase buildings in order to make a profit and use that money to invest in iconic buildings and landmarks from all across Paris. With classic Euro-style gameplay and short player turns, this game will keep the everyone at the table alert and ready to snatch up the best buildings and bonus cards they can.
