About the Role


We’re looking for an outgoing individual with the gift of the gab. Someone who speaks clearly and confidently, has an excellent attitude, and thrives in a customer-facing environment.


Experience with sales, inventory management, and CRM software is preferred.


A passion for board games, a strong work ethic, and a positive outlook are essential.



Key Responsibilities


- Maintain strong relationships with existing customers and respond promptly to inquiries and issues


- Attract new customers through market research, phone outreach, industry forums, advertising campaigns, and promotional materials


- Develop and implement sales strategies to grow our customer base and expand market share


- Stay up to date with trends in board games, miniatures, RPGs, TCGs, puzzles, novelties, and toys


- Create and distribute marketing material


- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of our product range and industry developments


- Represent the business at industry trade shows, such as PAX


- Use cloud-based inventory and CRM systems


- Liaise with internal departments


- Assist with sourcing new products for the business


- Perform other tasks as required



Key Criteria


- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills


- Demonstrated passion for board games


- Strong proficiency with spreadsheets (Excel and Google Sheets)


- Problem-solving and decision-making ability


- High attention to detail and strong time management


- At least 2 years of experience in a sales role


- Experience or knowledge of the board game or toy industry is highly regarded


- Self-motivated and results-driven


- Full-time weekday availability required


- Must hold a valid driver’s licence


- Permanent residency or legal right to work in Australia is essential
